Terms of Service
Last updated: Effective May 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Nexus Laboratory website at nexuslaboratory.org and the research products listed for sale on it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Nexus Laboratory supplies research compounds for in vitro laboratory research conducted by qualified researchers. The products are not pharmaceuticals, are not intended for human or veterinary use, and the company does not provide therapeutic, dosing, or medical guidance. By placing an order, you represent that you meet the qualified-researcher definition described below. See also the Regulatory Disclaimer.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the Nexus Laboratory website or placing an order, you affirm that you are at least 21 years old, that you are acting on behalf of a qualified research institution or as an independent qualified researcher, and that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms, the Regulatory Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund & Return Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the site and do not place an order. Nexus Laboratory may revise these Terms at any time; revisions take effect when posted to this page. The “Effective” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Eligibility and qualified researcher status
You may use Nexus Laboratory only if you are legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction and only for purposes that are lawful in that jurisdiction. The minimum age to place an order is 21 years. This threshold reflects the research-use-only nature of the materials and is intended to limit access to adults acting in a qualified-research context.
Products are sold for in-vitro laboratory research purposes only. You agree not to administer, ingest, inject, apply, inhale, or otherwise introduce any product to a human or animal subject, and not to resell or redistribute products to anyone who would. You agree to use the product in a controlled laboratory environment with appropriate personal protective equipment and documented safety practices.
You agree to comply with all applicable export-control, import, customs, controlled-substance, and chemical- handling laws in your jurisdiction. The legal status of research chemicals varies; you are solely responsible for determining the legality of possession and use in your location. Nexus Laboratory ships exclusively within the United States via USPS and does not accept international orders.
Orders, pricing, and payment
Listed prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes and shipping. Nexus Laboratory may correct pricing or product-information errors and may cancel any order affected by a material error, with a full refund issued to the original payment method.
Payment is processed through MoonPay. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, and PayPal. Nexus Laboratory does not directly store full payment-card numbers; tokenized payment metadata is received from MoonPay as needed to fulfill the order. Orders are charged when accepted; an order is not accepted until you receive a written order confirmation from Nexus Laboratory.
Nexus Laboratory reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, limitations on available inventory, errors in pricing or product descriptions, suspected intent to violate these Terms or the Regulatory Disclaimer, or restrictions imposed by applicable law.
Shipping, delivery, and risk of loss
Nexus Laboratory ships within the United States via USPS. International orders are not accepted. Typical processing is 1 to 2 business days; typical USPS Priority delivery is 3 to 5 business days after shipment. Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees, and Nexus Laboratory is not liable for shipping delays outside of its control.
Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery of the shipment to USPS at our origin facility. You are responsible for inspecting shipments on receipt and notifying Nexus Laboratory of any visible damage, shortage, or misshipment within 48 hours of delivery. The procedure for damaged or misshipped orders is documented in the Refund & Return Policy.
Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by the Refund & Return Policy. The terms of that policy are incorporated into these Terms by reference and form part of the agreement between you and Nexus Laboratory. In summary: damaged shipments and shipments containing the wrong product are eligible for replacement or refund subject to the documentation requirements in the policy; opened, reconstituted, or temperature-compromised products are not returnable.
Intellectual property
The Nexus Laboratory name, logo, wordmark, website, photography, product descriptions, Certificates of Analysis, peptide library content, blog articles, and all related content are owned by Nexus Laboratory or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive no license to any of this material except to view and use the site for the limited purpose of evaluating and purchasing products.
You may not scrape, mirror, frame, or systematically harvest content from the site, and you may not use Nexus Laboratory content to train machine learning models or derivative datasets without written permission. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NEXUS LABORATORY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
Certificates of Analysis describe the analytical chemistry of a specific manufacturing batch under documented storage conditions. They do not warrant that the product is suitable for any particular research application. You are responsible for determining suitability for your research purpose.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NEXUS LABORATORY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS. NEXUS LABORATORY’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID NEXUS LABORATORY FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nexus Laboratory and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the site or any product; (b) your violation of these Terms or any other Nexus Laboratory policy; (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any administration, use, or distribution of a product in violation of the Regulatory Disclaimer.
Termination
Nexus Laboratory may suspend or terminate your access to the site or refuse to fulfill orders at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, the Regulatory Disclaimer, or applicable law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will continue to apply after termination.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Return Policy, or your use of the site shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules then in effect. The seat of the arbitration shall be in North Carolina, and the arbitration shall be conducted in the English language. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for qualifying disputes within that court’s jurisdictional limits.
You and Nexus Laboratory agree to resolve all disputes on an individual basis. Neither party may bring or participate in any class, consolidated, or representative action.
Modifications to these Terms
Nexus Laboratory may revise these Terms at any time. The revised Terms become effective when posted to this page, and the “Effective” date above will be updated. Material changes will be highlighted in the introduction of the revised version. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not agree, your remedy is to stop using the site.
